Introducing North Falls
Consultation now open
North Falls Offshore Wind Farm, an extension project to the existing 504 MW Greater Gabbard Offshore Wind Farm, is being developed in the southern North Sea more than 20km off the UK coast.
The site is in two parts which together cover a total area of 150km². North Falls is being developed by North Falls Offshore Wind Farm Limited, a 50/50 joint venture company owned by SSE and RWE.
We are now seeking your views on the proposal so far as part of our first public consultation about the project. This online portal will be open for feedback from Monday 25 October until Friday 10 December 2021.
This is an initial online consultation to introduce North Falls and invite comments on how we intend to progress the project and on the proposals to date.
There will be further consultations, including a statutory consultation, and opportunities to engage with us as the development continues, however through this introductory consultation we hope to give stakeholders the opportunity to learn more about the project and for us to gain an early insight into your opinions and thoughts.
Explore this website using the dropdown menu above to find out more about our background and rationale, the development process, scoping and the project proposals so far - both onshore and offshore.
You can give your feedback via specific questions throughout this site or by using this feedback form. You can also use the consultation map to add direct comments by pinning them to the relevant location. There is also the option to contact us directly via freephone, email or post.
